All Things Honey

All Things Honey

Honey is one of nature’s oldest sweeteners. It can be used in practically everything: face masks, cooking, or even by itself as a tasty treat. It makes complete sense that hemp and honey go hand-in-hand because honey is a naturally occurring carbohydrate (easily absorbed by the body)  and easy to infuse. The SipCozy team did a deep dive into honey options that are made regionally in Florida, plus a couple other stand-outs that are made using sustainable farming methods.

Bee Friends Farm: Jacksonville Wildflower CBD Honey

SipCozy loves to represent local (Jacksonville, Fl)  whenever possible. We checked out Bee Friends Farm located in Jacksonville, Fla., which infuses locally-sourced Jacksonville wildflower honey with CBD isolate. The company is partnered with Ablis CBD Infusions in Bend, Oregon, who specializes in all-natural products saturated with THC-free CBD crystal. The products are then isolated from hemp with a “winterization” technique using C02. #Science.

Team SipCozy loved the taste of this sweet, smooth wildflower honey. It has a deliciously golden look that complements its thick texture. The recommended serving size is one tablespoon, which contains 20mg of CBD.

Luce Farms: Hemp-Infused Honey

Next stop on our honey expedition: Stockbridge, Vt.! Luce Farms uses sustainable hemp farming practices and a natural extraction method. This ensures that products retain the essential vitamins, minerals, Omega fatty acids and terpenes that naturally occur in hemp. The jar contains 360MG of CBD, and each suggested serving portion is 10mg.

At $50, this is the most expensive honey we reviewed, but their farm-to-jar methods reflect pure, quality honey. Its gooey, creamy texture perfectly complements the sweet aftertaste. Also, check out their delicious Caramellow Goat Milk Carmels!
